The power of plants for outdoor protection

We carefully selected each ingredient of our Outdoor Spray for its unique benefits and natural properties. Our star trio of essential oils – lemon eucalyptus, geranium, and cedarwood – are individually valued for their fresh scents and soothing qualities, and all posess natural insect-repelling properties. Together, they create a powerful, yet delightful, aroma that is fresh, outdoorsy, and softly floral with a grounding woody finish. This combination helps to deter mosquitoes, ticks, ants, and flies while offering a soothing experience for your body.

Essential supporting ingredients

Beyond our potent essential oil blend, other key ingredients play vital roles. Witch hazel acts as a natural emulsifier, ensuring our water and oils blend smoothly and preventing a greasy feel on your skin. Fractionated coconut oil serves as a natural, lightweight, and non-greasy carrier oil, diluting the essential oils while soothing the skin. The natural fatty acids in coconut oil have also been shown to help repel flies, ticks, and mosquitoes. Finally, distilled water provides the pure, lightweight base that safely dilutes the essential oils, making our spray gentle and effective.

Natural Balms

Beeswax

Beeswax is one of the common ingredients in all our balms, for good reason:

  • Beeswax is a powerful natural barrier and healer. It draws and locks in moisture. It creates a breathable, physical barrier that protects the skin from harsh elements.
  • Packed with Vitamin A, it helps heal minor cuts, abrasions and burns.
  • Its anti-flammatory properties, calm redness and ease skin irritations
  • Contains natural antiseptic and antibiotic properties which helps keep the skin clean and protect from microorganisms

Shea Butter

Another powerhouse ingredient found in all our balms:
