Happy Trails Botanicals started with a love for my family, the outdoors, our dogs, and a desire to create simple, botanical products for people and pups who love being outside as much as we do.

But the story really started long before Happy Trails.

I grew up surrounded by nature, with parents who loved taking us hiking on the Bruce Trail and a mom who taught us to appreciate herbs, plants, natural products, and the simple things nature has to offer. That stayed with me as I grew up, and eventually my mom and I started an annual herb fair together — a place to share our love of herbs and natural products and learn from others.

Then I became a mom to four boys, and life became busy, loud, and full of adventure. Somewhere in those years of raising a family, I came to appreciate the simple things even more — getting outside, spending time together, and slowing down enough to enjoy the little moments.

A few years ago, going through breast cancer changed the way I thought about the products I use even more. I became much more conscious of ingredients, what I put on my skin, and what I bring into our home. It also gave me an even deeper appreciation for the things that matter most.

The idea for Happy Trails began to take shape after we discovered a tick on our dog. I started researching ingredients, learning more about botanicals, and experimenting with my own outdoor blend. That curiosity eventually grew into something much bigger.

Today, Happy Trails Botanicals brings together so many pieces of my life — my family, my love of herbs and natural products, my dogs, the outdoors, and everything life has taught me along the way.

For me, Happy Trails is about more than the products.

It’s about getting outside.
Muddy paws. Fresh air. Forest trails.
Time with the people and the dogs we love.
And appreciating the little moments along the way.

Every product is hand-blended in small batches with simple, thoughtfully chosen ingredients, with the hope that it becomes a small part of someone else’s everyday adventures.
